Prerequisites

Claude Code installed and on your PATH.
An RedPanda programmatic token (opo_) from Developers → Access.

Setup

Generate your token

In the RedPanda app, open Account → Settings → Developers → Access. Create an OAuth app if prompted, then generate an opo_… token.

Generate programmatic token

Register the RedPanda MCP server

Run one of the following in your terminal. Server name is always redpanda.

claude mcp add redpanda 
  --transport http 
  --header "Authorization: Bearer opo_your_programmatic_token" 
  "https://api-production-a424.up.railway.app/mcp"

claude mcp add redpanda --transport http --url "https://api-production-a424.up.railway.app/mcp/opo_your_programmatic_token"

Confirm registration

claude mcp list

You should see redpanda with HTTP transport pointing at your API origin.

Start a new session and verify

Open a fresh Claude Code session, then ask:

List my connected social media accounts

Claude should call integrationList and return your workspace channels.

Updating or removing

To change auth or URL, remove and re-add:

claude mcp remove redpanda

Then run the claude mcp add command again with the updated token or method.

Self-hosted API

Use your BACKEND_DOMAIN_URL origin instead of https://api-production-a424.up.railway.app in the command.
